Hello back. Before I start, do you know what is CMC? or in other words is Computer Mediated Communication. Do you have any idea on it? or did you have heard this words before? So basically, CMC is any form of communication or interaction between two or more people via separate computers through network connection. Started in late 1980s and 1990s with introduction of Communicative CALL. ASYNCHRONOUS CMS means that communication is not synchronized and message are not exchanged and replied immediately. for example, E-mails, social media, internet forums, message board and blogs. CMC and long distance learning. in the late 2000s, CMC was implemented for distance learning. Synchronous communication allows teachers and learners to interact without bening in the same place. COLLABORATIVE learning. Computers can help enhance peers interaction and group works. For examples, google doc, google drive, blogs and messenger.

Tuesday 13th June 2017 Today we've learned about how to use search engine and online data base. First of all, Madam introduce us what is search engine and online data base. Search Engines and Online Database is a system where people can find literally anything on the World Wide Web or simply WWW. 1. A web tool that enable user to find any information using keywords 2. Hello and Assalamualaikum. Today is the second class for this week. The first class on Tuesday, we've learned about the evolution of the CALL. So basically, based on my understanding evolution of CALL have three basic progression which are Behaviouristic CALL, Communicative CALL and Integrated CALL. Behaviouristic CALL is develop in 1960s based on behaviorist learning theory. The Stanford Project (1960) students listen and type the answer and students work is compared with answer sheet. There are many advantages of using behaviouritic CALL. Can provide immediate feedback, efficient record keeping, students can work at their own pace outside the classroom. Hello and Assalamualaikum. Its been awhile I didn't update anything about my ESP6013. I've been busy and almost forgot to update my blog. In the first class, Madam explained about the marks and what we have to learn in this subject. Madam told us that we need to create a blog and need to update in every week.
