Smartbuilder: create account.

Hello, today in class IT, we've learned something new. Its about smart builder and how to use it.
first of all, we need to create account of smart builder. If we dont have any account, we cannot use the smartbuilder. so, we need to sign up for use trial free for 30 days.

However, we managed to learn about lesson number 1 - Creating Pages.
its quite fun, because we can insert any of our favorite picture in this smartbuilder. It takes me a lot of time to find a suitable picture of my page. After adding the first page, Madam Azida, taught us how to make our button to the next page. Its a little bit hard for the first try, because we need to know the scripting and make sure the script is right.

Evolution of CALL

Hello and Assalamualaikum. Today is the second class for this week. The first class on Tuesday, we've learned about the evolution of the CALL. So basically, based on my understanding evolution of CALL have three basic progression which are Behaviouristic CALL, Communicative CALL and Integrated CALL. Behaviouristic CALL is develop in 1960s based on behaviorist learning theory. The Stanford Project (1960) students listen and type the answer and students work is compared with answer sheet. There are many advantages of using behaviouritic CALL. Can provide immediate feedback, efficient record keeping, students can work at their own pace outside the classroom. Communicative CALL, developed between 1970-1980s and focused  on the usage of language rather than perfect grammar. Computer as a tutor. Non-drill format skill practice. Computer Mediated Communication

Hello back. Before I start, do you know what is CMC? or in other words is Computer Mediated Communication. Do you have any idea on it? or did you have heard this words before? So basically, CMC is any form of communication or interaction between two or more people via separate computers through network connection. Started in late 1980s and 1990s with introduction of Communicative CALL. ASYNCHRONOUS CMS means that communication is not synchronized and message are not exchanged and replied immediately. for example, E-mails, social media, internet forums, message board and blogs. CMC and long distance learning. in the late 2000s, CMC was implemented for distance learning. Synchronous communication allows teachers and learners to interact without bening in the same place. COLLABORATIVE learning. Computers can help enhance peers interaction and group works. For examples, google doc, google drive, blogs and messenger.
