smart builder audio

Hello, this week we learned how to put a audio in our smart builder. Interesting! We can put our favorite audio. Audio is really important. We need to put a audio in our courseware to make kids more enjoy while doing our courseware.

Its really easy to put the audio, we just need to click audio button on the side bar and search any kind of children song. I understand easily all the instruction given by madam Azida

we choose a suitable song for standard 3 or 4. But, we need to put 2 audio to make our lesson more interesting.

Evolution of CALL

Hello and Assalamualaikum. Today is the second class for this week. The first class on Tuesday, we've learned about the evolution of the CALL. So basically, based on my understanding evolution of CALL have three basic progression which are Behaviouristic CALL, Communicative CALL and Integrated CALL. Behaviouristic CALL is develop in 1960s based on behaviorist learning theory. The Stanford Project (1960) students listen and type the answer and students work is compared with answer sheet. There are many advantages of using behaviouritic CALL. Can provide immediate feedback, efficient record keeping, students can work at their own pace outside the classroom. Communicative CALL, developed between 1970-1980s and focused  on the usage of language rather than perfect grammar. Computer as a tutor. Non-drill format skill practice. Computer Mediated Communication

Hello back. Before I start, do you know what is CMC? or in other words is Computer Mediated Communication. Do you have any idea on it? or did you have heard this words before? So basically, CMC is any form of communication or interaction between two or more people via separate computers through network connection. Started in late 1980s and 1990s with introduction of Communicative CALL. ASYNCHRONOUS CMS means that communication is not synchronized and message are not exchanged and replied immediately. for example, E-mails, social media, internet forums, message board and blogs. CMC and long distance learning. in the late 2000s, CMC was implemented for distance learning. Synchronous communication allows teachers and learners to interact without bening in the same place. COLLABORATIVE learning. Computers can help enhance peers interaction and group works. For examples, google doc, google drive, blogs and messenger.
